The Beginning
On the 2nd July 2007, our humble website was fully crawled for the first time. It had been online for a few months at this point but was never fully built until now. The Frutiger Aero design is reminiscent of the internet at the time - retro-futuristic, optimistic and playful. We had 812 products available across 89 brands at prices we all wish for now. Our original logo was in place until 2013 before being replaced with our previous logo.
Into the 21st Century
After 13 years and many evolutions in ecommerce, we decided it was time to say goodbye to our old website. The old site was crawled for the last time on this date, with the new site appearing a day later. The new site was a drastic upgrade on a site that had not been updated in a long time, and saw great appraise from customers for a modern design.
A Natural Evolution
A tough year had passed with COVID-19 and we felt it was time for a refresh. We didn't have to reinvent the wheel this time - the codebase stayed the same with just a new home page built.
The Future
Almost 4 years on, the limitations of a website originally built 5 years ago begun to show. Our previous logo designed 10 years ago also needed a refresh - and so we chose to rebuild from scratch. While our appearance has changed, we still have the same values from the start - customer care, honesty and integrity. This page was created in honour of just how far we have come - but also to never forget where we came from. The About Us text above was on our first website, and carries over today. We thank you for being part of our journey so far, and hope you can join us for times ahead.
